CRTFlowAcademy
Master the art of Candle Range Theory. Learn how to identify high-probability setups, manage risk, and trade with institutional flow.
A Sweep happens when price **takes liquidity** (stops) above a previous High or below a previous Low, but fails to close there.
This indicates that "Smart Money" is trapping breakout traders. We wait for the candle to close back inside the range.
"Inspired by the classic Turtle Soup strategy, we've automated the detection of false breakouts to find high-probability reversals."
- Bullish Sweep: Price dips below Low, closes Green.
- Bearish Sweep: Price spikes above High, closes Red.
This is the rarest and most powerful signal. It happens when the Reclaim Candle closes **exactly at the same level** (or within 0.03%) of the Pre-Sweep Candle.
Why it works: It signals massive institutional control ("Equilibrium"). The algorithm balances the price perfectly before the real move.
A TBS Setup is a rare "Fakeout" where price actually closes beyond a Pivot (acting like a real breakout), but the very next candle completely reverses and closes back inside the range.
Our engine identifies two main execution models on the 1-Hour timeframe:
"These models provide 1H precision while keeping you aligned with the higher-order flow."
Our scanner detects if the sweep candle also creates or taps into a **Fair Value Gap** (Imbalance).
A Sweep + FVG is a high-conviction setup. In the dashboard, look for the little lightning bolt ⚡ icon next to the trade type.
Time & Price Alignment
A CRT setup without volume is noise. We align the engine with **Macro Trend (Daily)** for direction and **Institutional Killzones** for execution.
Look for "Perfect Reclaim"
This is your #1 priority. If a signal has the Purple Badge, take it. It means price action is perfectly balanced.
Check Confluence Score
Use the "Confluence" view in Dashboard. Groups with higher scores (e.g. Bullish + Equilibrium) are statistically stronger.
Session Alignment
Signals during London (08-11) or NY (13-16) sessions have 3x higher win rate due to volume.
Liquidity Tier
Major liquidity sweeps (Weekly/Daily levels) are more reliable than Minor (Intraday) ones.
Entry Rules
Intraday: <30m delay.
Swing: <2h delay.
Tiers
Major (1W/1D) vs Minor (Intraday) liquidity.
Draw on Liquidity
We target structural levels (Swing Highs/Lows), not blind fixed ratios.
Your 4-Step Trading Checklist
Follow this routine to filter out noise and capture institutional moves.
Identify Model
Is it an Inside Bar CRT or a Multiple Candle Setup? Ensure the 1H structure is clean.
Trend Alignment
Is the setup aligned with the Market Bias? Look for the A++ / Trend-Aligned badge.
Time & Volume
Are we in an active Killzone (LDN/NY)? Check the Optimal Window metric on Dashboard.
DOL Analysis
Does the Draw on Liquidity (Swing High/Low) provide at least 1:1.5 R/R?
Trade Glossary
Divergence between correlated assets. e.g. SPY makes Higher High, QQQ makes Lower High.
Imbalance left between Candle 1's High and Candle 3's Low. Price often returns here.
Correction of trend direction. Lower Highs sequence broken by a new High.
